Christmas Date Box: How To

Christmas Date Box

This Christmas date box is a fun way to make a date night at home have a more special feel. Making this was super easy and was such a fun night of holiday festivities.

Supplies Needed:

*Can be customized however you like*

We began to set up the date by lighting the candle from the box. Make sure you choose a scent you both will like! I went with a classic evergreen, as I knew something with a sweeter aroma would bother me.

To start the date we made the Starbucks hot chocolate. To make this more fun I added a ton of mini marshmallows, a candy cane with a mini donut on it and these gingerbread cookie mug toppers that we then dipped into the drink. You can also sprinkle some crushed peppermint on top if you like the minty taste! I was unable to find pre-crushed peppermint, so I crushed it myself by putting the candy cane into the food processor.

I think serving trays make everything easier (and it’s a pretty way to serve snacks!) So I set up a dessert tray with peppermints, red and green M&M’s, some cookies ad our hot chocolates.

I also made this festive M&M Crunch Christmas Popcorn. You can find the recipe here! This was easy to make, however, make sure you pour the marshmallow mixture onto the popcorn right away as it dries quickly.

Nex, we decided to make the gingerbread houses from the box. This is a great yearly tradition to start! Although for some reason mine never turn out as good as I feel they will, but it is fun nonetheless!

After that, we exchanged Christmas Pajamas (this is a new yearly tradition we have begun!) and then we got comfortable on the couch and watched a Christmas movie together (both not pictured).

What is your favorite Christmas movie? Do you have any Christmas date traditions?
